Got in a car accident today. My dad and I were going Christmas shopping, and were driving on the freeway. I was reading Waking Rose.
I heard a sharp intake of breath from my dad, and looked up. When he makes that sort of sound, you know something's wrong. He slammed his foot on the brake, and I saw a red car in front of us, growing bigger all too fast. Something was really wrong. We were going to hit it. It was kinda one of those, "Oh, shit." moments.
I had just enough time to squeeze my eyes shut before the impact. My body was jolted forward, caught by the seatbelt.
When I opened my eyes again, the world was white. I couldn't breath, couldn't hear.
The air slowly cleared of millions of tiny particles, but I still couldn't draw in a breath through them.
"Roll down your window," I heard my dad say. Don't know when I started hearing again. I obeyed, leaning out to breath deeply. I opened the door, and unbuckled myself so I could get out. First, I looked down at my book, amazed that I had kept my place through all that, and stuck my bookmark within its pages. Then I stepped over to the side of the road, face carefully blank.
I hadn't been scared; still wasn't. I don't know why. Nor does anyone else, really. No one could figure out why I was so calm: not my dad, the two police officers, the lady we hit, my dad's friend Greg, my mom...or anyone else.
Speaking of my mom, she called a few minutes later. She told me that I did have fencing today. I almost laughed. I explained that we had gotten in a MINOR car crash, but nobody was hurt, though the Saturn may have been totaled. I told her to cancel the lesson.
First one police officer came, and walked by me, sitting on the car seat with my feet on the ground. I smiled at him.
"How are you doing?" he asked.
"I'm good. And you?"
He walked away.
Same EXACT thing with the second one. Geeze, you'd think they'd at least answer...
My dad took it surprisingly well, but the other driver was pretty pissed. Haha, sucks for her.
I texted Eliot later, and he asked if I was okay. I assured him I was fine.
Speaking of which, though, both he and Lily said they'd call me back tonight, and neither of them did. Hmph.
Oh, and my mom invited her boyfriend, Ron, to come with us to my grandparents' for Christmas. Again. I really hate that guy. I don't know what she sees in him. He's just a jerk.
Well, I'm gonna go read my book. Cliffhanger, you know? G'night!
Love,
Faye

He Kissed Me...
On the cheek, but yeah. I'm still in shock.
We were in the Indoor Commons, finishing up our Greek Tragedies in English. The bell rang, and we packed up the props.
He came up to me, and said, "I have to go. My brother's really mad at me now."
"Aww, I'm sorry," I said, and gave him a hug. He hugged me back, and kissed me on the right cheek. Mhm. I still can't quite process this, but...yeah.
We had a continuation party in band today, and I ate WAAAAAY too many sweets. Then a lollipop in PE, an some more fudge and a Hershey's Kiss after school. Bleh. I feel sick. In the party, Sean randomly sat down next to me and put his arm around my shoulders. I repeated the gesture to him, and we started ricking side to side for no reason. xD
After school, but before Eliot left, Sean came over to me, and told me about how we'd both get two hit-free weeks. "So I may as well hit you hard now," he said. I laughed, and we hugged, then he hit me on the head, and I hit him back and stole his hat. I ran, and he chased me. "Run, Faye, Run!" I heard someone shout behind me. I obeyed. We ran out into the Outdoor Commons, when I realized that I was wearing the scarf that Lily had given me for Christmas a few minutes before, and that he could strangle me with it. I chucked the hat behind me and slowed a bit. He still grabbed onto the scarf, then dragged me over so he could grab his hat. We went back inside, panting. We hugged again, and he left.
Later, we went back to the English room to grab our stuff. I took pictures of Lily, Lisa, Eliot, and Will with my phone. Eliot left after another quick hug. As he opened the door, the fire alarm went off. "Yeah, I'm getting out of here," he said, and went.
Lily and I went outside (after I went to my locker, haha). The teachers were freaking out. The fire department came.
Sean was on his bike, and came over and said, "I'm sorry."
I hugged him, saying, "Me too. What for?" I be intelligent.
"For hitting you and taking your stuff."
"Yeah, I'm sorry too." We grinned at each other, and I said, "See you next year!"
"Yep!" he said.
It was really sweet when we were watching the rest of Iron Man in band, because Sean and Alicia (his girlfriend) were sitting on the floor, and Sean was behind her, watching with his head to her left, and he had his arms wrapped around her waist.
They are the greatest couple ever. EVER. Like, Alicia is a really confident, tomboy-ish girl, and Sean is not quite so confident, and slightly more girly that most guys. They make the perfect pair. And they were REALLY REALLY cute today! I almost started squealing.
I was walking to the IDC during lunch, and Jackson ran past me with this stuffed chicken, and someone was chasing him (forget who).
"Faye." he said as he passed.
"Hi," I said, confused. I wished I had just said, "Jackson." But oh well.
As they went, I heard him yell, "It's my cock!"
Katrina and I had a laughing fit over this in a minute, when I told her about it.
Oh, did I mention that Jackson and Jenice are FINALLY going out? I don't like either of them, but they're so cute together!
Later, Katrina and I went to hang out in the Art Room, as the IDC had officially gotten boring. As we walked in, I hear Alex (not my friend--different one, who's going out with Brittany) say, "Isn't that Eliot?"
"I don't know..." Brittany (who's pretty much glued to his side, as always) said.
I looked, and saw my boyfriend's backpack and jacket on a table. As I approached, I realized there was also a pair of jeans.
"What is that?" whispered Katrina.
"I'm not sure," I whispered back, "but I think it's my boyfriend."
Hesitantly, I poked his ankle. He groaned, and removed the jacket from his face. He had actually been asleep. On a table. In the Art Room.
I started cracking up.
Later, we were sitting together, me kinda leaning against him, Katrina to my right.
"So when's the wedding?" Eddie asked. Could have killed him. "And should I bring, like...flowers?"
Katrina promptly joined in, and I punched her lightly on the arm. Pfft.
In PE, we were watching a movie about Tiger Woods in the boy's locker room. I leaned against Eliot, while my friends pretended not to be glancing at us every few seconds.
Mig turned off the TV a few minutes before class ended, and told us to just hang out. Eliot lay back, and I rested my head on his chest. An excited squeal came from Emily, and I gave her the finger. I was TIRED. I apologized later, though, as did she.
Well, that's about all I can say. Later!
Love,
Faye

My Perfect Fictional Love Story
SUNDAY:
I've been nervous all week.
And now I'm pulling into Eliot's driveway, mouth struggling to close. "Are you sure we have the right address?" I ask my mom. The house is HUGE. And the yard is even bigger! She confirms the number, and turns off the car. We get out, and I knock hesitantly on the large front door. I'm sure it has to be a mistake. A dog barks inside, and a familiar face appears through the door as Eliot pulls it open. We smile at each other, and he invites me in. I'm introduced to his mom, dad, brother (Parker), and brother's friend.
My mom chats with his parents for a few minutes, then leaves, and we're alone with his mom and dad in another room.
It's a bit awkward at first, and I keep looking around at the gimungous house. Christmas love songs are crooned softly from a speaker hidden in a corner, somehow making the silence between us grow.
We make a very good chocolate cake (actually, he does most of it while I try to understand what he's doing. I really can't cook), then stick it in the oven to bake for a while.
His mom pops out and suggests a movie on (Fred Clause, or something like that). We end up watching Get Smart, sitting about a foot apart in front of the fireplace. He's on my left. His mom has left. (Haha...)
Before I know quite what's happening, he's scooted over to me, and has his arm around my waist. I lean against him, barely breathing. We stay like that for a few minutes, then we hear a door opening somewhere in the house. We shoot apart as he whispers, "That's her."
His mom comes out a few moments later, and we pretend to be completely engrossed in the movie. She leaves, and his arm is around me again. Repeat mom incident.
This time when we come back together, I lace the fingers of my right hand through his right, which is holding me to him. I lean on him, and he rests his head on mine. His brother and his friend come in, and neither of us pull away. From what I've heard of Parker, he is probably thinking something along the lines of, 'Wow, she must be crazy--or desperate.' The two brothers aren't very close.
I don't care though. I'm happy. I wish the moment would never end.
The two older boys exit. He takes my other hand in his, and I smile up at him.
The movie is ending. I whisper what has been on my mind since the dance, "So...do we just go back to being friends?"
He looks down and closes his eyes for a moment before looking back at me. "I don't know," he says. "I'm...really confused."
"Me too." Both of us keep our voices down.
"I really like this," he says, holding me tighter. I squeeze his hand.
"Me too."
We sit like that for a while, and he finally says, "You know, if you told me what you'd like to do, it would make my life a whole lot easier."
"Right back at you."
We sit quietly for another few minutes. All the while, I'm hoping as hard as I ever have that he'll say he wants to go out. I'm not usually one to sit quietly, but I don't want to pressure him into anything.
His mom comes out for a couple minutes, in the kitchen, but we don't jump away this time. I think we're both waiting to see if she says anything. She doesn't, and eventually leaves.
A minute or so later, he asks, "Shall we try it?"
I smile and say, "Yes." I feel like I'm about to burst. I don't know if I've ever been happier.
His mom comes out again, and lays on the couch to watch TV with us. We stay like we are for a while.
He gets up to clean something in the kitchen.
His mom talks to me about things he's done, is surprised that I'm into swords as well as him, says that he's an amazing cook.
"Yeah," I say softly. "He is amazing." I'm not sure if he heard me, or if I even wanted him to.
His mom left after a bit, and we sit back down where we were before. I realize, in the short time that we were apart, how much I missed him there beside me. It was a strange feeling; a kind of emptiness. And I try to imagine what it would be like if he were moving away, like Peter. I'm not sure I could stand it.
All too soon, my dad arrives, and we break apart reluctantly before he comes in. I grab my jacket, then hug Eliot. My Eliot. I whisper in his ear, "So we're going out, then?"
"Yes," he says, and that's all I needed to hear to be happy for the rest of my life. I hug him tighter, then leave.
I'm bursting to tell my dad on the way home, but I want Lisa to be the first one to hear. When I get home (to my mom's), I run over to Lisa's. I have to hold in my news for a few minutes (her parents and brother were right there...), then finally whisper to her, "I had a great time at my BOYFRIEND'S." I grin as she stares at me in shock for a moment, then clings to my arm as she screams excitedly into my shoulder. I'm laughing hysterically throughout this.We hang out, do homework, watch Wall-E (is that how you write it? o_o), and then I go home to tell my mom.
She takes it better than I would have thought, only asking what it means to be "going out" these days.
The next day at school, a lot of people have heard through Facebook already. I totally thought it was all a really good dream...until my mom said something about "my boyfriend" this morning. "He's not my--oh, wait. He is." (I did this several times throughout the day). I still checked with Lisa.
The entire elementary group was freaking out, as I was the first one of us to get a...boyfriend (that's still really weird!), as Emily told me. She was rather explosive when I told her, then went up to attack Eliot later.
During lunch, I was attacked by Katy, who had already been told by Christine, then shoved in the Art Room to sit with him. We walked to English holding hands. Eddie saw us and squealed into his binder. Haha, Eddie.
During English, I saw him looking at me a few times. I smiled, and blushed.
Now that I'm writing this out, I'm thinking just how fictional this sounds; the plain, unpopular girl gets the amazing boyfriend.
But, best of all, it's completely true.
Faye got a boyfriend, and couldn't be happier.
Love,
Faye
P.S.
I can't help but think of the irony in this: I get my first boyfriend as Rosie's leaves. I love you, sweetheart. Best wishes!

"On My Own" is Stuck in My Head...
Kinda annoying after a while.
Band concert on Wednesday! I think Eliot might come. I mentioned it in PE yesterday, and he asked when it was. I hope he does!
Also, I'm going to be one of a few people singing "Do You Hear the People Sing" out in front of the band! Plus, Lisa and I are first flutes in one song, and we plus two second flutes have a bit where we play alone. At one part, we all split off notes. Yay! ^^
El is sixteen, and in junior college, by the way! Woah...only two years older than me. o_o
The three of us in my class fenced El today. It was really fun. I actually stabbed him! ;o
Eh. Not much more to say.
Yesterday, Will was selling Christmas trees with his Boy Scout Troop. I really wanted to go and bug him, and since we hadn't gotten our tree yet at my mom's, I suggested that we get one tonight. She had that stupid parenting class (because I didn't turn out right, and she wants to redo my personality), which ended at nine; the same time Will was leaving. She usually ends up leaving early. This time, though, she didn't feel like it. Honestly. Selfish much? Uggh. We really don't have another chance to get a tree; she's been putting it off for ages.
When Will announced that he'd be selling trees yesterday in English, Eliot announced that he'd go harass him. XD After school today, I asked what troop Will was in for Katrina, who's brother's troop was also selling last night. (They weren't in the same troop). Eliot said, "Oh, no! I forgot to go harass you! Oh, well. I still can." He started after Will, who made a frightened sound and ran away. I laughed.
"Uchi wa doko desu ka?" I asked as we walked out together.
"What?"
"Where's your house? I'm gonna need to get there somehow!"
"Oh, I thought you were speaking Japanese."
"That was Japanese."
"Oh."
I laughed.
We walked most of the way towards his locker as he described how to get there. Then I rushed off to home, then fencing.
I forgot my phone at my dad's this morning, by the way. So I couldn't call my mom the FOUR TIMES she told me to. -.- ("OMG! IT'S GETTING DARK! YOU'RE GOING TO GET RUN OVER!" -eyeroll-). I went to my dad's for the first time from the fencing academy.
Eliot has to propose to and marry Cassie in his Greek Tragedy play. x3
I have to memorize about a billion lines by Monday. HELP!
Officially going to Eliot's after the band rehearsal Sunday!
Okay, I've been thinking about this moment lately:
Eliot and Sophia were going out. He was talking to me about her, and called her "Sophie". NO ONE calls her that. He's the only one. A hot mixture of bitterness, sorrow, and anger rose up in my throat. I realized I was jealous. Very jealous. I hadn't known I liked him so much until then.
Love,
Faye

For Rosie...
Oh, Rosie!
I'm not sure I can really say anything. I'm on the verge of tears myself. I...I want to say I hope you're feeling better, but it's pretty obvious that that won't be happening.
I guess the most I can do is offer you a virtual hug, and tell you how sorry I am. I'm thinking about you. I know you'll make it through another day.
Get some sleep, sweetheart.
Love you.

I guess the most I can do is offer you a virtual hug, and tell you how sorry I am. I'm thinking about you. I know you'll make it through another day.
Get some sleep, sweetheart.
Love you.

Rosie...
Sorry, but my computer's being stupid and won't let me comment on your blog! Dx
I totally agree with the whole comment thing!

Thought My Heart Would Burst...
He held my hand.
HE HELD MY HAND!!!

So, I got out for PE, and I was shivering as I sat. Eliot was standing...a few feet away. Katy comes over, gives me a hug, and sees how cold I am. "Hun, you're shivering!" she said loudly, then stood back. "Someone needs to hug you and warm you up!" He couldn't see it, but on her face it was obvious that she was giving a hint to a certain someone. I grinned at her, and whispered, "I know, right? Too bad the someone who should be giving YOU a hug isn't here!"
Katy went to join her class, and Eliot sat down next to me. We had a conversation about nail polish and being cold (I have brown nail polish on, he painted his nails when he was in France...).
"Give me your jacket, Danny!" he said at one point.
Danny: "...Uh, why?"
"Because Faye's cold!"
We laughed.
"I'm really cold!" I said later, and held my breath as he reached his arm around me and squeezed me tightly against him. I leaned my head against him, and he rested his head gently on mine. He could feel me shivering, and said, "You're shivering! It's making me cold!" I laughed and wrapped my arms around his waist for a moment to give him a tight squeeze, then let them fall back to my lap. Christine and Emily walked by, gawking, at one point.
We stayed like that for five or so minutes, but then our stupid PE teacher just had to come out. "Role call," he said, and let his arm drop as he got up. We looked at each other, and I blushed, then ran off to stand on my number.
Mig (teacher) was talking, and I glanced over to see that Eliot had placed himself on the other side of a crowd, where he could see me. I smiled at him.
After PE, Katy came over again, and hugged me, and felt my hands. "Oh my gosh, your hands are cold!"
She left in a moment, and I put my hand against Eliot's cheek. "Are my hands really that cold?"
"Yes!" he said. Haha.
I rested my hands on his arm, and he took them into his own hands, resting them on his lap. We sat like that for a few minutes, until the bell rang. Katy shouted at me, Lily next to her. I walked (with Eliot) up to them, and Lily handed me a wrapped box: my Christmas present. I tore open the paper, and Eliot had to run to his locker really quick. Inside was Waking Rose!
I had guessed it, but now I finally have it! ^^ Yay!!! (Good book...)
I thanked Lily about a million times, then ran off to English for a pop quiz on a book I hadn't read. -.-
Love,
Faye

Smart Statement of the Year
During break, I was talking to Eliot in my room one night. When I got out, I asked if my mom could hear my conversation. She said that she turned the music up loud so she couldn't.
"Thanks," I said.
"Especially when you're talking to a BOY!"
"It wasn't a boy! It was Eliot! I mean--he's a BOY, but not like that! I mean--you know what? Never mind." I walked away. Better not to say anything else stupid.
Rawr.
BUTBUTBUT.
Wednesday, we were talking about me burning butter in a pan that was off, and he asked if I needed cooking lessons. I said something stupid like, "Lily and Katy tried." Or something. He said again, "But do you need cooking lessons?"
Thursday--yesterday--I said, "I think you're right. I probably do need cooking lessons. Doubt anyone would trust me with a stove, though." I laughed.
"I would," he said. I smiled.
He emailed me, and asked what the one thing I had always wanted to cook was. I said chocolate cake. (Feeling like a bit of a pig, but oh well XD). He asked me if I'd like to learn. I said I'd love to.
I'm going to look really stupid, though! I can't cook! Dx
Right. Not much else to say. Baii.

Faye

Hmm...Perhaps Will is as Much of a Klutz as I Am?
So...tired...
One thing I think I forgot to mention was that Corinna told me about Will setting a gun (not loaded, don't worry! Just made a loud sound) off backstage during a performance, and knocking down a row of metal chairs during the same one, as well as two other cases of klutziness. xDDD Also, one of her friends (Hannah, in my Japanese class) likes him! xDDDDDDD I was trying not to laugh.
Oh, and most of the guys, at the end of a show, would line up outside the girl's changing room and chant:
"Get naked! Get naked! Get butt butt naked!"
Guys are strange creatures. o_o She wasn't sure if Will was doing this or not.
Will and I hug every time we see each other now. He gives nice hugs. <3
Can't keep my mind off Eliot. Rina hits me every time I mention him, or she thinks I'm thinking about him. She's always right, too. -.-
Fencing was really fun. From Tuesday:
We were practicing with foils (a type of sword), and El told me to lunge. I didn't touch Jimmy, the boy I was fencing with. El told me to stab him, and demonstrated with his own sword. "See?" he said. "Poking him is fun! Do you like poking him?" I grinned and nodded, jabbing at him with my foil. It was really funny.
Today, El stabbed me. He grinned and said, "I get to stab someone. The highlight of my day." I laughed. El's really nice. I still want to know how old he is, but it would be kinda awkward to ask.
Not much happened today. Dx The fog that we had been having has cleared up.
OH, BUT MY DAD CAME BACK YESTERDAY! ^^ I got to go see him. We ordered pizza. He was sick as usual when he comes back, and had hurt his toe somehow.
Can't think much. Eliot fills my mind. Should go.
Love,
Faye

Fencing: Day 1
It really sucks when you have a stomach ache, and a small boy is jabbing at your stomach with a sword. Yup.
Just got back! It was really fun. The instructor, El, is really nice. We're a class of three: me, and two little boys. Like, seven. Trying not to be embarrassed.
My mom was right: El IS really young! Like, fifteen to seventeen, I'd say. Actually, a lot of how he taught us reminded me of my own job at my riding academy. I mentioned something about that to him. He said that that was cool. But not in a bored, sarcastic way.
We learned how to stand while fencing, and advance, retreat, extend, lunge, and parry four. It was a lot of fun.
I'm pretty tired now. Won't talk much.
El was probably over six feet, with 2.5-ish inch long dark sandy blond hair. He's pretty nice, though I didn't get to talk to him much. At the end, he asked me how I liked it. I replied that I loved it.
It was really funny (though predictable) when we were holding a lunge for a while, and I was kinda just hanging out, while the two boys were falling over. Hee. El said that his class decided to see how long they could hold a lunge, and got bored after ten minutes. Oh, and he's been fencing for five years. I'm all, like, dang...
Right. Katy and Lily came over yesterday. Katy called Alex, and Lily called Garrett, and I tried to call Eliot, but he wouldn't pick up. They tried to teach me to cook. I burnt the butter when the pan was off. Dx I fail. The elementary group and Eliot got a kick out of it when I told them, though. Meh.
Remember Vikram? He's the one who called me dirty names after I kicked him after he kicked my flute. Well, before PE, he sent his brother ("A", if you recall from the last post) with a message for me: that he was sorry and he'd like to call a truce. I sent A back to say that it was fine, and I was sorry as well. After PE, he came up to me and confirmed that I had gotten the message, and I confirmed that he got mine. We shook hands, and left. Haha.
Not much happened today. In school, anyways. Well, except PE.
Oh, and before band, when we were waiting for the door to be unlocked, I hugged Kristin, and Sean was there. Kristin said something like, "Haha, Sean doesn't get a hug." So I went over and hugged him. To my surprise, he hugged me back. Nice to not constantly be fighting, eh?
Right then. PE.
Alex fount a piece of plastic. Oh, dear...
He was skating around with it under his shoe.
I was sitting with my knees up on my number. Eliot came out and said my knees looked worse. "Really?" I asked, taking a moment to examine them.
I held my hands out, and asked, "Help me up?" He did. We went over to Alex and Danny, and Eliot threatened to take Alex's plastic away. Then Alex spun around on it. Of course, Eliot had to try this. Then Danny. They proceeded to attempt to do ballet for the next five or so minutes, occasionally getting an, "Epic fail!" from me. xD Lily's new thing. It rubbed off on me.
While someone else was taking a turn, Eliot walked closer to me. I still sat on the bench/edge of planter...thing.
"Aren't you freezing?" I asked, shivering. He was in shorts and a t-shirt. As always.
"Yeah," he replied. "But my arms are really warm."
I held my own arms out. "Come here," I told him. "I want a hug."
He hugged me, bending down. "Wow, you are cold," he said. He sat down next to me, keeping his arms tightly around me. I hugged him back.
In that minute, the whole world felt...right.
But I was suddenly all too aware of the people around. I pulled slightly away, regretting it as I did so.
He kept one arm around me, tightly holding me to him, as if to say, "She's mine." I leaned my head on his shoulder, wishing that that moment would never end. My shivering slowly receded.
We stayed like that for a few minutes as we watched Danny jump from the ground, over a trash can, and onto the bench/edge of planter...thing. Eliot suggested putting him in the trash can, and we got into a whole discussion of rolling down hills in tires and trash cans. Funfun. Someone said how you could use a trash can like a potato sack in a sack race.
Then Danny told Eliot to try that. He got up, leaving me to miss him, a few feet away, and lean against the pole again. Eliot hopped six or so steps, then got out.
The trash can was empty, by the way.
In English, we were partnering up and writing scripts on part of the Iliad. Lisa and I decided to be partners. Neither of us had read this part. Crap.
We spent the entire period wondering what to write. We have to finish it at home. SO glad there wasn't enough time in class for everyone to go. Haha.
Can't stop thinking about Eliot. Glad my fencing instructor goes by El.
Love,
Faye

Okay, Fun Over. Here's What Happened Today...
Oh, where to begin! Perhaps with the beginning, I suppose. Pfft.
First day back at school after break! Yay! ...Not.
Right.
Morning:
So I glomped Lisa, who I hadn't seen in a week, when she came to get me in the morning. I hugged Sam when we picked her up.
Japanese:
Got a note from Emily to Mimi. Delivered in Bio.
Bike Ride:
Switched bikes with Lisa, whose bike wouldn't go very fast. Nothing else happened.
Computers:
Got new seats. Next to Holly, in front of Will. Yay. Hugged Holly (quietly, as I was late). Will came over to my computer around the middle of the period. Hugged Will. Told him I missed him, because I hadn't seen him in a week. He corrected me and said that it had been nine days, and he missed me too. He needed to use my computer (his wasn't registering some files), so I logged out. I scooted over to give him room on my chair, and he finally sat down, saying, "Fine." Well he didn't expect me to sit on the GROUND, did he? Haha. I leaned on him as he worked. When he got up, I took my chair back, and went into his paint files. Holly and I had fun looking at his sandwich, which contained a Chuck Norris layer. xDDD Unfortunately, something was wrong with his brick layer, and they didn't show up. Aww.
He had summoned our teacher over, who looked at his computer as he leaned against the wall. I leaned my head back against his chest, still half asleep. He went back to his seat, and I regained control of my computer. Showed Holly my lovely ice skating bruise, and laughed at her antics. Bell rang. Hugged Will again before I left with Holly, still clinging to her.
Passing Period:
Hugged Ripley as I waited for Lisa. Hugged Toby, and listened to his complaints about his sister, who spent hours taking a Twilight quiz, and took notes. Pfft. Silly thing. OMG NICK SHAVED HIS SIDEBURNS. Emily was pointing to him, and it took me a second (distracted by Eliot, whom I had noticed behind me) to notice what was up. I gaped at him, then grinned. About time, too. Somehow, Eliot got ahead of me in the crowd. I tapped him on the shoulder, and said, "Hey." Then I hugged him tightly. He said, "Hey," back as he hugged me. As we parted and went to our respective classes, I made note that he was wearing a bright red jacket, though he claimed that he didn't get cold. Hah.
Bio:
Delivered Emily's note. Hugged Cassie, Jenny, and Emily. That's about it.
Passing Period:
Nothing, really.
Geometry:
We did Geometry, as I tell Rina every time she asks what we did in math. Max and I chatted. Emily and I chatted. Tried some of her strong-smelling lotion. Stole Graham's seat. Haha, Graham. Rawr.
Passing Period:
Collected Rina, huddled against her, Holly, and Maya for warmth. Saw Christine. Dropped stuff and GLOMPED. Nearly ripped my arm off from hanging on. Haha. Did I mention she's tall?
Lunch:
Very Perverted. Made the preamble into...a very perverted piece of work. Haha. Pooled money with Rina to get cookies. Yum. Hugged Hannah and Dani...and Ripley again. x3
Passing Period:
Nothing.
Band:
BAND ROOM WAS ACTUALLY OPEN WHEN LUNCH ENDED! OMG! ;o Sean said the teacher was sleeping. xDDD Actually had a reasonable conversation with Sean. Told him not to hit my knees because of the bruises. He flicked one, but missed the bruise. Haha.
Passing Period:
Nothing.
P.E.:
Re-hugged Chrissie in the locker room. Got out before anyone. Again. Sat on my number with knees up. After a while, Eliot came out, and saw my knees. "What happened?" he said loudly. I smiled up at him and said, "Ice skating, remember?"
"Oh, yeah..." he said. He started to say something else, but Katy came and exclaimed over my knees. -.- Eliot went to talk to Alex.
Katy gave me a hug, because I was cold and shivering, then had to go. I joined Eliot, who was now talking to Danny, and heard a strange sentence. Forget what it was. I laughed and said, "See! You guys always have the best conversations."
Eliot grinned, and said, "Yeah. We were talking about ____ earlier." Forget what he said. Pfft. He said something about being cold. I said I thought he said he didn't get cold. He said that he did sometimes. Haha.
Emily came up behind me and poked me in the sides. I squealed, jumped, turned, and started after her. When I turned back, Eliot was laughing. I pointed at him, suppressed my smile, and said, "You shut up."
He said something about that being the best part of the day, or something. Pfft. Again.
Girl friends and I talked for a while. I got multiple hugs from them, as I was still shivering.
"Look, Chrissie!" I held up my knee. "I went ice skating! Can you tell?" She got this horrified look on her face, and said how much it must hurt. I reassured her that it didn't. Jenny looked, and called it pretty. Very loudly. xD "Thank you, Jenny!" I said, beaming up at her. "You're the only one who seems to grasp my point!" Cassie was in between "Ouch!" and "Pretty!"
Roll call.
As I was making my way back to where most of my friends were after I was noted, I was still shivering. I was walking kinda towards Will, and Eliot was close behind him.
I really don't know why I did it, but I asked Will for a hug, because I was cold. He gave me one, and held on. He beckoned to Emily, and commanded her to join the hug, while holding me against him. I wouldn't look at Eliot. When Emily joined, I buried my head in Will's shoulder for a moment. Emily exclaimed as we pulled apart, "Will's a pimp!" Everyone who heard laughed. xDDD
Afterwards, I went over to Eliot, and asked him for a hug, too. He hugged me tightly, and I let my hands rest on his chest and shoulders, as I wasn't able to move them around to hug him back. I like hugs. x3
We started golf. Ewww. We got into partners. Danny and Alex were partners, leaving Eliot out. My friends had already partnered up. I glanced over in Eliot's direction, but then saw that Beti had been Emily's partner, so Cassie was mine. Eliot's partner was...Argin? Dunno how to spell it. xD Let's call him A, shall we? Cassie and I sat near them. One partner was to get a piece of paper that attempted to show you how to hold a golf club; the other was to get the club. Cassie and I spent a while debating over who was more likely to kill someone with the club, then finally asked Eliot. It took only a moment for him to say to me, "Probably you."
"Hey!" I protested. "I'm not THAT much of a klutz!"
He pointed to my knee, and said, "Exhibit A." I couldn't resist laughing. Cassie got the club.
By the way, we're spending 2 to 3 weeks on golf. Uggh. -.-
When we couldn't quite figure the paper out, Eliot came over and said to Cassie, "You're holding it wrong." He showed her how to.
"How did you know?" I asked.
"I used to take golf," he told me. Oh.
A had the club in their group. I hid from Cassie behind Eliot.
Cassie and I make the best klutzy pair, by the way. During a relay, she was second, and I was third, and as she tried to hand me the stick, we somehow collided, and both tripped. Smart, eh?
Right. Rushed now. Three minutes.
Hid behind Eliot. Eliot helped me with my grip when I got the club.
Passing Period:
Walked to English with Danny. Glomped Lily, whom we saw when biking to school. Rejoined Danny.
English:
Started reading Iliad. Teacher sad something about how every human possesses some emotions: happiness, sadness, anger, love. At the last, Eliot and I glanced at each other. Yay. ^^ I blushed.
After class, I tripped over...nothing. Eliot saw, and said, "And you say you're not a klutz!" Haha. As he left, he said, "Goodbye, Faye."
Squee!
Right. Fencing tomorrow! Can't wait. Mom signed me up today. Instructor (who goes by El) sounds nice. Mom says he's only fifteen-ish! Woah.
Gotta go. Help me remember to go into more detail about that, and tell you about Katy and Lily coming over after school, me burning the butter in a pan that was off, and the Vikram incident in PE.

Faye
So There's This Boy...
And he's just so wonderful. He's smart, he's funny, and he's really, really sweet. We can talk for hours about nothing in particular, and never get bored. He's so strong and gives the most wonderful hugs. I don't think he gets just how much I like him, even though I've tried to tell him. And somehow, he likes me too. Whenever I'm sad or lonely, he's always there. He can always make me smile. He is my own personal sun. I just wish I could tell him one more time. I want him to know that I think about him constantly. I can't get him off my mind. But he wants to be
just friends.
I really, really like this boy.

I Went Ice Skating on Friday.
Worried yet?
Haha. Don't be. My knees are rather colorful from the bruises, but I only feel once, so I'm fine. I did manage to get a cut from it, though, which I'm a bit puzzled about.
On Thanksgiving, I left a message on Eliot's phone.
The next morning, he called me. I had kept my phone with me 24/7 since Wednesday, but I was surprised when it rang. As I saw his name on the external window thing of my phone, I grinned and hurried to answer it.
"Hey," I said, my voice breaking a bit. Uggh. Lovely. "Wait just a sec."
I ran out of the family room, which housed the others, and out the front door, onto the walkway outside. I slowed to a walk, and said, "Hi, can you hear me? Sorry about that. No signal in there."
He said something about thinking it was a voicemail message. Haha.
I walked over to the curb on the other side of the street, and sat down on the cold cement, wishing I had more on than my thin pajama pants and a tanktop. Of course, he was standing on top of a mountain, by a lake, in the early morning, before breakfast, with two dogs, freezing, to talk to me. Yay!
Yet, somehow, he kept saying that I was the one who sounded cold. I admit, I was shivering. He offered to email instead, but I declined.
We talked for about 22 minutes. I checked later.
At one point, he asked what time it was, and I said I didn't know. He said he thought he had to go back down for breakfast, and we said goodbye. I ran back inside and had breakfast as well.
At one point in the conversation, I said something really stupid.
My mom had been teasing me about how she thinks I like Eliot, and the rest of my family caught on. My Uncle Dennis even said "Faye "(insert Eliot's last name here)". Uggh.
I mentioned something about it, and said that it was hard to deny liking him when I really did. Bakabakabakabaka.
Well, I'm hungry. Later.

Mostly Dead at This Point...
Not gonna talk about riding yesterday. Not really in the mood.
Texted with and called Emmy. Yayness.
I took a chance and texted him. He texted back! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!
I had to stop texting, but I told him he could call me if he wanted. He didn't call.
I got home, ate dinner, watched a movie, finished a pie (yes, ME, cooking! -legasp-), and went to bed. Before I turned out the light, I checked my phone one last time. New voicemail! Yay!
I held my breath as I listened to that creepy woman tell me I had one new message--as if I didn't already know that.
Finally, after an agonizing moment, I heard his voice come on.
"Hey, Faye. It's Eliot. I'm calling because I finally got a signal, but I don't know how long it will last..."
The rest of the message (about 30 seconds) was filled with a low fuzz. Then it ended. I will call him back later. I can't wait! ^^
Love,
Faye

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I Just Called Him...Twice
Aren't you proud of me? Haha.
The first time was at the academy, when everyone had gone home. We talked for a bit, and I made sure everything was alright between us. On Monday, he woke up at noon, went bowling at two, ate lunch, went home and lay on the couch. On Tuesday, he woke up at ten, went bowling at noon, ate lunch, went home and lay on the couch. On Wednesday, he's probably going to wake up at noon, go bowling, eat lunch, go home, and go to some lake for the rest of the weekend. When I told him my schedule, he said that I must really like horses. I think he must really like bowling. xD
When I was turning Cookie out, one of the kids closed the gate as I went to get her. She tried to open it when I got out with the mare, and Cookie spooked, reared a bit, and generally freaked out. I got her calmed down and inside, but she freaked out again. I let go of the lead rope, got out, and closed the gate. I wasn't afraid when it was happening, but I found myself shaking afterwards. When she had calmed down, I went to get the lead from her.
Right. The second time I called him, it was at home. My mom had come and interrupted our previous conversation, so I called him back when we got home, safe in my room. We talked for a while before he had to go. I be happy. =3
I'm really hungry, and dindin's ready. Later!
Love,
Faye

-muttermutter-
I hate small children.
I was working with a group of six of them all day today. Since it was at the stable, there were even more rules for them to break. I hate to see myself turn into the "bad guy" ("No running, guys!", "Get off of that!", etc...), but it was really necessary. I'm exhausted, though. And quite hungry.
The most memorable character award goes to a six-year-old named Molly, whose half birthday is coming up, and will probably move when she, erm...mates. Yes, that's what she said. I dunno why. I'm all, like, "Oh. Uh, really?" A bit awkward. She also decided that she didn't know what a fist is, so she couldn't pick up dirt clods bigger than one, and had to swing on a gate and spook the horses. -.- Rawr.
I had a lot of fun, even though it was hard. It's kinda cool, being in charge of these guys for most of the day. It reminds me of when I was little, and I always looked up to the "big helper person". Haha. And now that's me.
I was being all like "rawr" all day. I'm not sure how much the kids liked me, but oh well. Had to be done.
Our work load will decrease tomorrow and Wednesday, as the number of kids will go down, but Molly will remain present.
I had a practice ride (do what you'd like, no instructor) on Honey, a really sweet horse with some cantering issues ("No, Honey, I said go around the cone, not ram into it!"). It was a lot of fun. For the first half or so, there was another girl and her instructor, Melissa, in the arena with me. She was jumping, and really good, as expected of Melissa's students. Afterwards, I did a bit of cantering. When it started getting darker, I cooled her down and took her in. When I got back out, it was pretty dark.
I picked up my phone, which I had stuck on a bench before I rode, as it would have fallen out had it been in my pocket. There was a message from Katy; she had called twice now. I listened to it, and called her back. Somewhere in there, I realized that everyone had gone home while I was riding. It's really cool that Shelley trusts me that much.
Right. So she and Alex had talked a bunch. It really sucks, because both she and Corinna like him, and I had said that I'd help Cor with him before I knew that Katy liked him, and now I dunno what to do. Dx
Well, dinner's ready! Gonna go eat!
Love,
Faye
PS
As for me, the time that is usually peaceful and just focused on horses has had other things intruding on it since yesterday. I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM. HELP.
PPS
Sweeping is a very common thing at the stable. It's one of those, "Yes, I know I just swept, but you see that speck of dirt? It shouldn't be there. And I bet if you swept, you'd find more dirt that shouldn't be there!" things. Haha.
Also, the kids have to carry their own saddles. I pick them out, then load the midgets up with a saddle, pad, and girth. One girl asked me what I was going to carry. I laughed. That's the satisfying thing about this job: the kids need to "build muscle". Heh.

News Flash!
Emmy, please refrain from telling anyone about this, m'kay? ^^
Faye is to start fencing (finally!) on the second of December!
I've been asking the mom-person for YEARS. It will be my Christmas present. ^^ Yay!
I'll actually be fencing at the same place as Eliot (awkward!), but I managed to get days different from him, luckily. And I don't plan on telling anybody else about this for a while. They'll probably just think it's because of him, and it's NOT. Like I said, I've been wanting this for YEARS.
Unfortunately, it appears that I may be the oldest person in my class. Oh, well.
The irony: I think my teacher's name will be Elliot. You've GOT to be kidding me.

Sad
He wouldn't really talk to me yesterday, let alone really LOOK at me. I felt awful. More than anything, I now wish that those three days had never happened. I miss my friend. I'd rather have never known.
I worried my friends yesterday. It's hard to be my usual, more cheerful self after a letdown like that.
-munchestoast-
Katy and Lily came over after school. Lily had to leave pretty soon, but Katy stayed for dinner. We spent hours in my room, trying on clothes she had discovered in the back of my closet, fake-fainting, and talking about our "lost loves", as the romance novels would say.
I know know of a few more things in my closet, that I look "beautiful" (according to Katy) in many of them, how to "faint" realistically, and more details about Katy and the guy she likes, who moved back to Mexico last summer.
It was fun. I still miss him. A heck of a lot.
Something I said last night was apparently "poetic", according to Katy:
"I'm not going to see him for a week and two days, and I'm already counting the minutes."
Haha. Me being dramatic.
Well, better go get ready for the sleepover, and make some money!
Love,
Faye
PS
I'm feeling better today, though.
PPS
The one good thing yesterday was in English, when we were in our small groups for a project. His group was across the room from mine. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see his face turned towards me. I looked at him, to see that he was already looking at me. I smiled, and he smiled. We both looked down.
PPPS
And when he ran the relay. You should have seen how fast he went!
PPPPS
And high jump. He would have cleared 4'8", had his shirt not flopped down a TINY bit! He NEARLY got 4'10"! He's so amazing.
PPPPPS
This'll be my last one. Promise.
Katy asked why I liked him. It's hard to describe why you love being around someone, but I tried.
-He makes me laugh
-He makes me smile
-He comes up with all these funny theories during math
-He is REALLY smart
-He is not afraid to be different, or differ in opinion from everyone else
-He is really fun to talk to
-He is really funny
-I can be myself around him, and I know he will still like me, no matter what I do
It's really hard to describe, but these are some of the things I came up with. Sound like a great guy? I think so, too.

Eew. I Dun Feel Good...
Uggh. I have a really bad headache, and I feel too sick to eat dinner. A perfect end to a horrible day, right?
Okay, I'm gonna stop stalling and get to bed already. 'Night.
Love,
Faye
PS
I've calmed down a bit, by the way.

Looks Like I'm Getting Kitty's Soul After All...
Damn it. I hate him.
You know what he posted on Facebook?
"Yeah, there was something going on, but I cut it off."
Bakabakabakabaka. DamnitdamnitDAMNIT.
What does he mean HE cut it off? It's his own fault, anyways.
I HATE BEING LED ON. I WANT TO KILL HIM.
Damn it.

Just to Make Things Worse...
I was really cold while he, Kathy, and I were hanging out. He asked, "Do you want a hug?"
"Yes." I smiled up at him.
He hugged me, and held on to me for a bit. I guess he could feel me shivering. When we parted, he still kept one arm around my shoulders. Simon and Sasha walked by, but we kept standing like that, as if to say that we were a couple.
Way to get my hopes up, Eliot. Thanks.

Moment's End
Damn it. Damnitdamnitdamnitdamnit.
I feel like crying.
Didn't see him much this morning. We passed in the halls, and he said, "Hey," and I said, "Hey," back.
PE. We pretty much acted like normal. I really wanted to talk to him about it, but I didn't really get the chance, because there were people around. Plus, I was nervous, and hoped that he'd start.
Not much happened in English, either.
After school, I pretty much thought I was doomed to wait another day, but he was still there. There were too many people, so I didn't say anything. I thought he'd left, but, again, I saw him.
After a while, it was just me, him, and Kathy. He was sitting outside the art room, working on a clay project.
At some point, Kathy went to try to open her old locker. I wished I hadn't gotten up to see what she was doing. I thought for sure I had missed my chance.
After a while, it got late, and Kathy left. Eliot went back to the art room to get his stuff, and I grabbed mine. Again, we acted normal as we walked out. He had parked in the other bike rack, so we said goodbye. At the last second, I turned and called his name. He turned, and walked back part way so I wouldn't have to shout.
He had said he was too busy to have a girlfriend. Trying to keep my voice steady, I asked, "Should we just...forget about this whole thing?"
I waited an agonizing heartbeat for him to say, "Yeah."
"'Kay," I said quietly.
"But I do want to hang out more," he said.
I forced a smile and said, "Definitely."
We parted.
I sort of waited around while I munched on one of the cookies he had given me. When he got his bike out of the bike rack, I started going. He smiled, I waved, he waved back. We said goodbye.
All the way home, I tried not to cry. I'm still not crying, even after I read this email from him:
"Hey, sorry I had to start all this and then be a jerk and call it all off. I still don't really know what i was thinking. I guess I was just going o the fact that i really like you. I just think that in the long run it would be so much better if we were still friends then( unlike me and Sophia now). I meant it when I said that I want to start hanging out more. You seem like one of the few legitimate people left on this earth and I would be honored to be your friend. So, all in all, I'm sorry."
Not crying, not crying, not crying, not crying, not...never mind.
Right then. I should...go...do something else.
Faye
I feel like crying.
Didn't see him much this morning. We passed in the halls, and he said, "Hey," and I said, "Hey," back.

I Should Really Try to Regain Normal Breathing...
OHMYGOSH.
He emailed me back.
"No, i don't mind going over it. So let me start from the top. A couple of years ago I was trying to solve my girl problems alone. That failed miserably. So then one of my friends told me that Emily liked me so I figured, hey, that's awesome. But then he started to get on my nerves about asking her out. So, to shut him up, I did. She didn't talk to me for about a year after that. Needless to say, I haven't gotten girl advice from him since. Then this year another one of my friends was reading my texts and aid that Sophia liked me. Since i trusted him more than the other friend, (and I've liked her since I've met her) I asked her out. And as you know that did work out. And yet again another one of my friends was readin' my email( I have very nosy friends) and said that you liked me, so I wanted to see. The more that i think about it, it's pretty rude to use people in all this trusting my friends thing. But yeah, So I asked you if you liked me (I'm a curious person). Now he's off my ask for advice list.
On to the other part of your question. Yeah I did like you a bit but that's fine if you said no, but if you had said yes I have no freakin' clue what I would have done. Quite frankly I don't have time for stuff like that in my life right now. With school and very thing else a girlfriend would drive me insane. But that's why my life would have been hard if you said yes. I would have definitely try to move every thing out of the way for you but then my grades would start to slip and that is bad, but hopes this answers your question."
OHMYGOSH.
Me:
"Wow. That's...about all I can say right now.
Okay, I suppose I owe you a bit of an explanation myself. Ah, but how about we don't tell anyone about this little story, so I can avoid getting eaten by several people?
Last year, Emily decided that you and I would make the "perfect couple", and has been nagging me about it ever since. Lisa, joined in this year.
At first, it was just kinda weird, since I hardly knew you last year. But this year, we became friends, and I realized that I really enjoyed being around you. I guess you kind of caught me by surprise today. I've thought about it all day, and I really wish I had said something different. I dunno what, though.
See, it's a bit tough when you have a bunch of people trying to push you together with someone. It's hard to tell whether you would have liked them regardless of that.
But...I really do think that I still would.
I really hope that that made any sense. I guess...I got nervous. Or something. I dunno. My mouth just starts moving under pressure, which often gets me in trouble.
To sum it up, yes, I like you, sorry I said I didn't, I totally understand how having a girlfriend would be very difficult, and yes, you did answer my questions.
Guess I'll see you tomorrow. I can't believe I just said all that over email.
Right then. I'm gonna go...try to breath normally. Haha. This was...a heck of a lot of a surprise, I guess."

I Probably Just Did Something Really Stupid...
Okay. I just emailed him those questions. I'm a bit nervous, I admit.
BUT, Lisa will never get Kitty's soul. Bwahahaha. x3
BUT, Lisa will never get Kitty's soul. Bwahahaha. x3
Eep.
The thing is, what if I do like him? I'd probably never admit this to anyone other than on here, but I think I do. No, I know I do. But I know for a fact that he doesn't like me back. He never could. Besides, I always have so much fun hanging out with him. I wouldn't want to spoil that by admitting that I like him like that. I'm really glad no one who goes to my school is reading this. That would be scary.
Speaking of which, though, Emmy, is there a really old dude who goes to your school? Because Lisa, Sam, and I see him every day, jogging in your PE shorts, as we go to our school.
Does anyone have any advice for me? It would be very, very, VERY much appreciated. Like, a lot. Thanks.

I've Just Had the Strangest Day...
I don't have first period on Wednesdays. Nor does Eliot.
When I got to school, he was already there, waiting for the bell to ring. He was in a large group of people, so I didn't go up to him immediately. When the bell rang, though, I caught up to him and said, "You wanted to ask me something?"
"Oh, yeah. Uhh...do you like me?"
There was a moment that I was at a complete loss for words. What was I supposed to say to that? I stammered something like, "Well, I--I mean, I like you as a FRIEND and all--"
"Okay, thanks. You've just made my life a whole lot easier!"
"What?"
"I'll explain later!" He ran off.
"...Okay."
I explained it to Lisa, who gushed for a moment and said that she'd win Kitty's soul, then we went to our separate classes.
I didn't see much of Eliot until PE, when he came out and walked over to his friends. I followed him and jabbed him in the back. He turned.
"Are you ever going to explain what all that was about?" I asked.
"What?"
I repeated it.
"Oh, right. That. Well, my friend was reading my emails..."
Faye-blurb (Copyright Rosie): Oh, nice to know that's so private. (End Faye-Blurb)
"...and he said that you liked me. Well, that's one friend I can cross off the list for advice!"
"...Okay."
Some of his friends came over to join him, and they got into an argument over whether, if you squeezed a pipe really hard, it would go through a parallel universe and come out backwards. When I asked Eliot how he came up with this theory, he said, "Math is boring." Figures.
Later, I caught up with him and said, "I have two questions. First, why did you ask?"
"Because I wanted to know." He shrugged.
Oh, wow. -.-
"And second, why did you say that that made your life easier?"
"Because there are a lot of things going on right now."
I still don't get it. Why would me liking him make his life harder? And why would he even bother to ask in the first place? And what would he have done if I had said I did like him? It seems like he was just trying to make things complicated...I dunno. Any ideas? Maybe I'll ask him. I'm really confused.
Love,
Faye
PS
In PE, I realized that I had only eaten a biscuit all day. Hmm. No wonder I thought I was going to keel over.

Nervous
I got an email from Eliot. He said he has a question he really wants answered. Have Emily and Lisa finally taken action, and said something stupid, and gotten him to hate me? Eep. I'm nervous. It's probably nothing, though. I'll let you guys know.
Oh, more news: I've picked up the guitar again. My mom, who used to play and still has her old guitar, is giving me lessons. Mine is blue. x3 Purdy. My fingers hurt, though. I've been playing a lot.
My leopard gecko, Pepper, is really sick. Like, he's practically skin and bones. He's moving around a bit more, but he wasn't really eating last time I saw him. I'll be spending three hours at my dad's house this evening. Hopefully he'll be doing better.
Not much more to say.
Kitty, would you mind trying to call me at, like, six (your time) sometime? I've been trying to call you, but it's really not working. I keep getting "the voicemail system", who's not very helpful. -.-
Love,
Faye

Oh, One More Thing.
Nobody will get this. But Lily said today:
"Fish is my Yako. Yako is my Fish. My Fish has come!"
We were both cracking up for about five minutes.

Too Tired to Say Much...
Bleh. I've been grounded for ages. Really don't want to talk about it right now. I might say something later.
My mom stole the book I was borrowing from Toby. I was hella pissed. I got it back, though.
I'm really tired, but I'll try to recount some of my day for you...
Our Computers teacher made us take an online sample driver's test for some reason. Everyone was helping everyone else. Will needed help getting to the site, so I went over to him and got there for him. I gave him a hug before going back to my seat, and he said, "I love you, too." Aww. So sweet. x3 He spent the remainder of the period periodically coming over to help Holly and I.
OHOHOH. And this really annoying guy said that if we helped him pass the driver's test three times, he'd shut up for a month. And guess what? HE PASSED! =D
We had a band field trip yesterday, to go see another band play. We got out at lunch, and had two hours to do what we wanted before we had to be at the theatre. Lisa, Sam and I went and ate soup and pumpkin pie at Lisa's house, then went to Sam's to play a bunch of music. I AM AMAZED AT SAM'S VOICE. IT'S AMAZING! (Oh, wow...xD) It's so pure and pretty...I love it! ^^
We saw Emmy at the concert. Funfun. x3
We were let out half an hour before school ended. We grabbed our stuff at Sam's. She was taking forever, so Lisa and I hid. When we came out, Sam had locked our bike tires together with my lock. Haha.
Then we headed over to school. They went to Anime Club while I went to English to pick up some homework. School hadn't ended, so I sat outside the room, wondering why nobody was in there. Pretty soon, they came back, and I heard many exclamations of, "Hey, look, it's Faye!" You'd think I had returned from the dead. xD
I hung out with Eliot until school ended. He offered to email me the notes he took in class that day. We walked out together, and he said he had to go to his locker. I'm still hitting myself for just saying, "Oh, okay. Bye!" and leaving. Idiot.
Anyways, when he emailed me, he said he'd missed me in class. So sweet. ^^
Rawr. My attention span fails.
Oh, I'm sitting next to Max in math now, and we talk a lot, and Emily thinks he likes me because of it. Oh, dear...
Well, I should go. I killed my in-class essay for the Antigone/Oedipus Rex final in English today, in case you were wondering. -.-
Love,
Faye

Eh. No Comment.
The list has been rearranged and added to.
1. Will
2. Alex
3. Eliot
4. ...Hannah's brother
5. Sean
6. Toby
Oh, dear. o_o Number four scares me. They actually call the people on the lists by their number sometimes. It's really funny.
Eliot was absent today, and emailed me for what we did in English. Strange, eh? Toby emailed me, and asked what I'd do if someone thrashed him to the last inch of life. I'm getting a bit worried about him. He's always beat up on himself, but it's been getting worse lately. Like, constant. I can't decide whether to hug him, or slap him. Decisions, decisions...
Kathy came over after school!
I don't think I've talked much about her. She's a really good friend of mine, but her parents sent her to a private school this year--and held her back to eighth grade. I miss her so much!
Anyways, she gets out early on Thursdays now, so she comes to visit us when we get out. Today, she came home with me! We had a ton of fun. I tried out her Ripstick, and we tried to pick my front door's lock with a paperclip, a hair pin, and my high school ID card.
OHOHOH!!! It was really funny today, because (as usual) we were waiting after lunch for my band teacher to unlock the door for us, and Gwen decided to try to pick the lock with her ID card, a trick she frequently uses for her own house. We watch in wide-eyed silence as our teacher comes up behind her and watches her work for a minute. "Uh, Gwen..." Hannah trails off as Gwen looks over at her, then, at my nod, to the teacher. "Oh!" she cries, startled. To most of our surprises, he chuckled. "You just practicing for a new career, Gwen?" he asked, and she grins wordlessly. It really doesn't sound funny as I retell it, but it was hilarious at the time. Gwen and I took a long time to stop laughing.
Uggh. Gotta go!
Love,
Faye

Have You Noticed How Long My Titles Usually Are? It's Like They Could Go On and On Forever, and I Could Just Keep Typing--Oh, Wait. There's a Limit.
Okay. You guys are probably tired of listening to me spaz about random junk that, frankly, nobody cares about.
The reason I put down so many details about these things is that I plan to (eventually) read back on all these posts. Probably, like, the summer before college. Or something. I dunno. Probably will forget about this by then. But still.
Maybe I'll tell you at the top of the post when there's really nothing interesting contained inside, and I really just need to talk. This will probably be very much like that.
Hmmm...what's happened that I've forgotten?
Oh, I dyed my hair a few weeks ago. Red. It washes out quickly, so it's long gone. But when I first dyed it, I wore an orange shirt to school. In Bio, Lisa said I smelled like a carrot. In PE (even though we were dressed out), Eliot said I was orange. As in, my skin. I told him it wasn't very nice (as I tried to keep a straight face). We argued over this for the entire period. He said I was a carrot. I said I wasn't. "Are you wearing orange today?" he asked. When I said I was, he said, "Then you're a carrot." Hard to argue with that one. I dunno how he knew what I was wearing. I don't usually see him before PE...Oh, well.
We were still arguing in English, and he got a bunch of other people, including Will, to agree with him. "That's not very nice," I told Will, and he said, "Aww, I'm sorry. You're very pretty." I grinned.
Ah, how I miss our old seats!
I've been wearing a clip in my hair as of late, which, I'm told, looks nice. Yay! =D
Dani and Hannah are keeping a list of boyfriends (basically, guys they've seen her with, or she talks about) for Ripley. They've recently made one for me. Though I don't have the fifteen that Ripley has, they've done a pretty good job, I suppose...well, they've got all my guy friends, anyways. In order, it is:
1. Toby
2. Eliot
3. Alex
4. Will
5. Sean
Eh...could be worse, I suppose. It's kind of funny, really. They're constantly getting moved around. Except Toby. He's always first. o_o
Le Miz is over. Last day was yesterday. Tickets sold out! ;o Last Wednesday, Alina and I were walking to band, and she mentioned a scene where Will has to wear a tux. We both started cracking up. Sam, who was with us, had no idea what we were talking about. The girl he had to dance with in the scene was really into it, while he was very stiff and a bit out of place.
He wore his Le Miz shirt today. Pretty cool. I sat on the floor between him and Holly for most of computers, and we talked about horseback riding (he rides a bit! SQUEE! I don't know why that makes me so happy, but it does.), drunk guys in Ireland, strange pets (we've both had tarantulas...I have arachniphobia (spelling). Eep!), and...just about everything in between. It was really fun, and I was sad when the bell rang. Hopefully, we can do much the same tomorrow. I was really tired, so I used Will's arm as a pillow for much of the time.
I'm always late to computers, as I come from the high school. So does Will, actually, but he's on time; he gets out five minutes early. As he'd say, neh. The door's always locked.
On Friday, when I knocked on the door, Will turned around and saw it was me. He jumped up and ran to let me in. The smile he gave me was (to describe it as they do in books) meant just for me, as if I was the only person in the world. I could feel my face heating up as I smiled back, then dumped my stuff at the back of the room to go join him.
Bella tried to eat me. x3 Yup, I got to ride her again! My mom watched, and said we did really well. It was a TON of fun.
Afterwards, I had her on the cross ties in the barn, and I was spoiling her with treats. After the first ccarrot, she tried to nibble my fingers. I gave her more. My mom came in and gushed over her, then fed her two apple cores. She attempted to consume my pants. I still needed them.
Emily tried to eat me. x3 Cassie pointed out that her face was sparkly, and said she was a vampire. She pretended to bite my leg. This was in the middle of PE. I said loudly, "Emily's trying to eat me!" Everyone stared at us. It was one of those "heh..." moments. Pretty funny.
We did long jump, and I landed with my ankle sideways, twisting it. It didn't hurt too bad at first, but my friends all had this look of horror on their faces when I made my way (limping a bit, unfortunately) back towards them. I tried to assure them I was fine. Eliot, trying to beat Jackson's record of 14'10", landed on his butt in the sand pit. Earlier, he had said that he wanted to get as dirty as possible, then hug everyone. He didn't get us dirty, but he still hugged everyone.
After English, I got up, forgetting about my ankle for a moment. I let out a steady stream of silent cussing as I put weight on it. Unfortunately, Eliot saw that. He caught up with me, and asked, "Is your ankle okay?" What was I supposed to say to that? "Uh, yeah," I managed. "It's--" fine? Not after that display. "--okay. Thanks."
Oh, Eliot won his fencing tournament last Saturday! Isn't that cool? I've always wanted to fence, but my mom's one of those people who promise they'll sign you up for something, but never do. -.-
In math, Emily stole my eraser, and wrote (each in a heart) T+E and T+W. (Insert sigh). Oh, well. She really needs to make up her mind...
It's been really weird in English. I tend to look at whoever is talking in class, and sometimes (okay, so quite a bit) I'll catch Eliot looking at me. I smile and turn back to the teacher quickly. I'm always really self conscious when people continuously look at me. I think I may have been having a bad hair day, or something...for the past few weeks. Eew. Hope not. Oh, well.
Oh, on Thursday, in PE, someone said, "Tomorrow is Friday!"
"Yeah!" I agreed. "And then it's Saturday, and then it's Sunday! And then I'll have my horseback riding lesson!"
Eliot laughed. "You know," he said, "I could have sworn you were going to say, 'And then it's Monday again!'" I started laughing really hard. He had matched my excited, girly tone perfectly.
We were doing high jump, and I was really nervous (Christine reminded me, though, that I was in the top three in our class last year, though). I rested my head and an arm on Eliot's shoulder as we talked. First time I had done anything of the sort.
We have tomorrow off! Yay! I'm having a sleepover with Ripley tonight. Yay. ^^ Can't wait!
Well, I'd better get ready. Or something. I have an hour. Haha.
Reading: Brisingr, Blood and Chocolate, and The Realms of the Gods (eep!)
Watching: Nothing. Too tired. Oh, my mom said that, since I was actually holding a conversation this morning, she was thinking, "Faye is awake and animated...WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS MORNING?" Haha...
Shoutouts: To Kitty, whose soul is the price of Lisa and I...'s bet. If Eliot or Will asks me out this school year, Lisa gets your soul. If they don't, I do. And if both of them do (haha...yeah, right.), Sam gets it. Even though she has no idea what we were talking about. She was just there.
To Will, who had to hide someone's shoe when he died in Le Miz, then, when it was over, asked, "Whose shoe is this?"
To Lisa, who is really cool.
To Ripley, who I will have much fun with in...just over a half an hour now.
Should go! I'm off!
Love,

Dunununununununu...BATMAN!!!
Can't say much!
I just spent three hours at my dad's--alone, and in the dark. At one point, some neighbors came over to check on the cats, and I heard them bumping around, and got really freaked out.
Today was pretty uneventful. Somehow, Eliot let it slip his attention that we have two large school plays a year. o_o Oh, dear...very slow, eh? xD
Even my own MOTHER thinks I like him. -.- What is this world coming to?
I did some modeling for Lisa's mom yesterday, and am a bit stiff.
Also, I have cramps. Bad ones. My PE teacher, whosome of us call Mig, still made me run, do curl ups and push ups, and grueling warmups. -.- PAIN.
Consuming: Ramen and eggnog
Watching: The computer screen
Thinking: If my mom tells me to do something ONE MORE TIME...
Right, then. I'm off!
Love,
Faye

I'm Outnumbered.
I'm gonna make this one brief, as I don't have a whole lot of time.
New seats in English: Not sitting next to friends, but Eliot and Will are still near each other, and still pretty near me. Should be interesting.
Before class started, I was sitting on my desk, and Will was just coming in. He went over and hugged Katie, then looked at me, and said harshly, "What." He sat down on the top of his desk.
I pouted, saying, "Will, you're so mean! You give Katie a hug, then get all mad at me!"
"Aww, I'm sorry," he replied, and held his arms open for me. I hurried to put my stuff down, though my bag got caught on the sleeve of my dad's jacket, which I'm borrowing while he's away. It must have looked like a bit of and awkward hug; him sitting on his desk while I stood in front of him. Oh, well.
We had a game today. Basketball. No, I don't play the sport. I'm in Pep Band. Our job is to entertain the crowd, cheer on our team, and, most importantly, distract the other team. Haha. We've taken to singing "Happy Birthday" at free throws. x3 Yup, I'm that much of a nerd. Actually, it's part of our grade. Still pretty fun, though. Whether or not I will have a voice tomorrow is still questionable; I was screaming a whole lot as Alex and I, as well as some other people, led everyone in the wave.
Afterwards, Christine and I went partially home together, and I asked her if SHE thought Eliot and I would make a good couple, as something Lisa had said about it was bugging me.
She asked me if I wanted an honest answer, and I said yes. She immediately said we would.
I managed to get a better reason for it out of her than Lisa's "You're hair matches!" or Emily's "You were destined to be together!", for which I am grateful. Apparently, our personalities are very similar, and we make the same sort of jokes.
She also said that she has thought this since she first met Eliot--in SEVENTH GRADE. I asked if I was the only one who doesn't see all this. "Probably," she replied, grinning. We both started laughing, though it wasn't really funny. It was just one of those moments.
Gotta go before my mother explodes. -.-

Will and Junk
Remember a few months ago? Will was just a name mentioned in a post, a random passerby in my life. Well, lately, he's become a lot more...there.
It's strange. Before last month, the only interaction we ever really had was whenever he passed me, he'd say my name accusingly. I'd return it with his in the same tone of voice, and no more was said, unless the same exchange went on for a bit.
I guess I owe it to Eliot. He had stolen my seat in English, so I took his, which just happened to be next to Will's. We talked a bit, and he drew a happy face and a dragon...thing on my eraser. I also found out he was one of two ninth graders in the high school musical. (No, not the movies. Our high school put on a musical).
Soon afterwards, in PE, Will helped me with the striking bag, coaching me a bit while Cassie (my parter for weight training) and I were there.
A week or so later, we had a fairly large Bio project due. In Computers, he switched places with Max so we could compare and ink ours together (we had both forgotten that little detail...oops. Still in pencil). We chatted some more, and it was pretty fun.
After a while, we started talking and hanging out more in the three classes we had together (Computers, PE, and English, if you haven't figured it out). I don't know about him, but I certainly have a good time with him.
Emily and Lisa, however, have added him to the list that was formerly just Eliot (they're trying to get me together with both of them now...don't ask me how THAT'S going to work). In the locker room, I mentioned to Emily how I saw her point about Will (She discovered the softness of his hair in eighth grade, and has been randomly stroking it ever since. I finally felt it, and agreed that it was REALLY soft. I told her that I agreed with her, and she said something along the lines of, "Yes, you pet him so he'll stop coming up to me and asking me to"). He seems a lot like a dog sometimes, actually. Like, last week, he was sitting on the floor by me in Computers, and I was just stroking his hair, trying not to laugh. He really looked like a dog. x3
Right. She got that over-adoring look in her eyes--again. "Forget Eliot!" she gushed. "Wha--" I started to say, then buried my face in my hands. "Oh, NO!" I groaned dramatically, then looked back up with a grin. "You're joking, right?" She said she wasn't, but I hadn't really thought she was. As it turned out, she's just added Will in there.
The next day, I blamed Will for something when Lisa and Sam were with me. (He, Sean, and Garrett are at fault for everything, in case you were wondering). Lisa told me she was going to tease me about Will as well, since I talk about him so much (Do I, really? It doesn't seem like it...).
Oh, have I mentioned that Lisa joined Emily the weekend before last on the whole Eliot thing? She was actually pretty adorable, the way she gushed about it...Saturday...and Sunday...and Monday...and later. Oh, well.
Right. So I went to see the musical on Saturday, for opening night. I promised Will I'd go, as well as another friend (Corinna, the other ninth grader in it). It was AMAZING. Will was really good, too, though he didn't have any solos or anything. I've heard him sing, just on his own, before, though, and he's really good.
Afterwards, Katrina (who I went with, other than my mom and her boyfriend) and I waited for the cast to come out. She and Corinna are friends, but she doesn't really know Will.
It took both of them forever to come out. We finally got Corinna, and attacked her, squealing. While we were all talking, I kept one eye out for Will, trying not to look as if I was. Don't need anyone else trying to get us together. -.-
Finally, I saw him, light blond hair standing out as usual among the crowd. I grinned and him and waved, then skirted around my friends to get to him. He grinned back and held his arms open for a hug. I ran into his arms, and hugged him back, telling him that he had done amazingly. We stood like that for a moment, then he went to see if anyone else was there that he knew. I went back to chat with my friends for a while longer. When we got outside, it was still raining, but we had the pumpkin pie I had made earlier (yup, that's right--I MADE IT! Me! With not too many slip ups. Okay, around three. Heh.) waiting for us at home. We dropped Rina off, then ate. Then I went to bed.
Today, Will and I switched places again in Computers, so he could sit next to Max, and I to Holly. Of course, we were still logged in on our real computers, and had some fun with messing with each other. What he had previously set to a stuffed squirrel wallpaper was now some random dude, possibly from the professional version of the play he was in. Then it was a man kissing his infant child. I'm all, like, ...?
Haha.
As for Holly and I, we set a rubber chicken in pants, and a stick of butter, and everything in between as his wallpaper. Then I had the brilliant idea to make a compilation for him of many random pictures. We had the forementioned two, Opra, Dr. Phil, cauliflower, Big Bird, Barbie, Winnie the Pooh, a cat, a bunny, several shoes...and that's about all I can remember at the moment. Then we stuck the hot pink letters spelling "Flower Power" across the top, and it was ready. We put it up, though I can't quite say he was thrilled. We had fun with it, though. And it took us the entire period (we didn't have anything productive to do, for some reason). He came over for a closer look, leaning over me. I tried not to laugh as I wrapped my arms around one of his, supporting himself against the desk. Will is fun.
I was a bit nervous, as a bunch of guys were gathered around my computer, laughing...oh, well. xD Will typed "porn" into a Google search, showing me what he was doing, but he didn't search for it. He said he'd never do that to me. Aww, thanks, Will.
So that was fun. But then he deleted it. I spent most of the rest of the day shunning him, and saying he was mean. He knew I was kidding. Possibly because I was mostly incapable of keeping a straight face. Heh.
I nearly froze in PE, when I had a tshirt and shorts on. Eliot had the same thing on, though he claimed that he was incapable of being cold. I asked him why he wears jackets sometimes, and he said that it got windy while he was biking. Pfft. Then again, I don't see him wearing jackets much. He did when he was sick, and when he got a really awesome one on Halloween. But that's about it.
Afterwards, when I got out of the locker room, I was greeted by Eliot running up to me, shouting back to Daniel, "Faye will know!" What I'd no, I had no idea at the time.
He asked how to play "that one hand clapping game". He started to sort of do it, and I guessed slide.
As it turned out, I was right, and I taught him how to play. He had a few issues but he didn't do as bad as I did when I was learning.
In the middle of the teaching, I feel a head rest on my shoulder. Thinking it's Jenny, who was sad earlier because I was cold and my mom was mean (they wanted to know why I was grounded), I turned to see Will. It was pretty startling, but I grinned at him and continued the game. For some reason, I had had the strangest urge to reach around and hug him.
Oh, on our way to school, I mentioned to Lisa seeing Will in a tux for the play. Haha. When I said that that was one thing I never though I'd see him wearing, she said, "Well, at least it wasn't a show girl costume." I can sorta picture it. Luls.
Right. So this morning, Eliot passed me in the hall as I was waiting for Lisa. "You won the candy!" he called as he walked away. "Are you serious?" I asked, grinning at him as he left. The previous night, I had found an email from him from 10:30 on Friday, saying that he had gotten lots of candy, and would give the first person to reply to his email (he had sent it to everyone he had emails for) would get half of it. Figuring it was too late, I replied anyways.
After the bell rang in PE, he told me to wait a second, and fished around in his backpack. A large bag of candy is pulled out and handed to me. I grin and give him a hug thanking him. Immediately, I have a bunch of people swarming around me, asking for some. People like Jenice, who have never even acknowledged my existence before, got none. Katy begged some from me, and stole the bag. I told the still-begging Will that if he helped me retrieve it, I'd give him some. He tried, I suppose. He took her jacket, which had fallen. She gave it back without taking any, though Will had already left. I told her I'd give her some after school if I saw her. I caught up with Eliot, and we walked to English together.
Once there, Jake, whom I barely talk to, declared that he was my best friend. "Since when?" I asked, hiding a grin. Since three seconds ago, I was told.
Will actually got quite a lot. Eliot, luckily, prevented him from stealing any. My friends got some as well, and I ate plenty.
Today was our last day in English of sitting in our current seats, I realized. I'm pretty sad about that. I'm in the back row, and it's loads of fun. It goes Cassie, Christine, Me, Will, Eliot. There are some people on the other side of Cassie, but they aren't friends. xD
Will and Eliot are great to watch. They're constantly doing something funny. While we were in the middle of reading Oedipus Rex once, they started a heated argument over whether it was physically possible to hang yourself with your own hands. This quickly spread, and Daniel, Jake, Jackson, and I, as well as some others, were involved. Eliot actually asked our teacher, who told us to get back on topic. Heh.
Last week, they discovered that their chest made different sounds when hit. They proceeded to play with their new discovery, trading blows, until they got bored, which took all of sixty seconds or so.
Today, Will got up to sharpen a pencil, and Eliot took his seat, deciding that he had tried to steal my candy enough. Will got back, and asked, "What are you doing?" He then tipped Eliot over, so he was laying in both of their chairs. Will lifted Eliot's legs up so he could sit down, and put them on the floor between the two desks. It was really funny. We had a really tall sub, and Eliot actually asked, in the middle of class, how tall he was. The answer, reluctantly given, was six foot seven. Exactly a foot taller than I am. Oh, I've grown and inch since June. o_o
Will stole my eraser to draw a face and "lulz" on it. Hee.
I'm going to miss our seats. It's been a lot of fun. I hope the next ones will be, too.
After school, Eliot showed me a picture on his O-M-G-iPhone (this is the guy with 4 pairs of $200 jeans, people. o_o) of some strange, yellowed fibers, and asked if I could guess what they were. I couldn't. He showed Daniel, but said it would probably gross me out. I half expected it to be something inappropriate. He insisted that I probably didn't want to see it. Hands on hips, I asked, "Would this gross me out because it's disgusting, or because I'm a GIRL?" He shrugged, and said that it was just because it was gross. I told him to show me, and he did. It was a picture of a dead cow. "Woah," I said. "That's cool. Where'd you find it?" On his friend's property, I was told. And he made a buck off it. He saw it and said, "Hey, look, a dead cow!" And his friend said it was just a rock formation. They made a bet, and Eliot won.
Eliot, Lisa, and I walked out. Before we parted, I gave Eliot another hug, and thanked him again. He hugged me back, holding on for a few moments. After he left, Lisa said that I could not say that I'd never date him. "No way," I replied. "We're just friends!" I've made this protest so many times (and not just with Eliot), that it's getting a bit old. Oh, well. It works well enough. "He gave you a bag of candy!" she argued. "I won it!" I said. "He probably just said you won so he could give it to you!" says Lisa. "Did not!" I protested.
Wow. I think I've been typing this for about an hour. I get really easily distracted. o_o
And I just realized that a lot of this is about Will. o_o That's rather strange. xD Oh, well. The people I know are pretty much the most interesting thing in my life. Virtual candy to anyone who actually read all that.
Eating Life cereal, reading The Realms of the Gods, by Tamora Pierce--again.
Shoutouts to Will, who dominates a very large post, and owes me a sip of his next Jamba Juice; Emmy, who should really blog more, as I miss her; Emily and Lisa, who really need a hobby; Holly, who needs one as well, but has very good ideas regarding Will's wallpaper; Katrina, who's hair was cool today; Ripley, who did Katrina's hair...and that's about it. Until later!

I Hate My Mom More than Anything Else in the World.
Okay, so here's the deal.
After we buy me the usual crappy thrift store costume, as my mom is hella cheap, she tells me that this will be my last year of trick or treating. I hadn't really paid attention to what I had gotten, thinking that I'd just get a better costume next year, but now wanted to think it through a bit more. But guess what? No returns at a thrift store. My mom is making me pay for it all.
And now, I don't even get to go trick or treating at all.
I was going to go with Lily and her friend Garrett, at his house, but at 9 last night, my mom realizes that she doesn't know Garrett's family, and has to meet them first. So she decides that Lily has to come home with me, we have to wait until she gets home, and she has to call Garrett. BUT, Lily decided to invite someone else, who was going home with Lily, so I couldn't go. I know I shouldn't, but I feel replaced.
So, Katrina was thinking about tagging along with us, so I had to call her and say that I couldn't go. She said she was going with Ripley, and that I could come. So we plan out a costume for me, and get everything all set up. My mom gets home, and I tell her my change of plan. She says okay.
I apologize to her 15 minutes before Rina was supposed to pick me up, for wearing a sleeveless shirt to school today. She wouldn't drive us to the high school, even though it was pouring, so I had to bike, and my other shirt got all muddy.
She got mad because there was a five minute period today that I didn't have my sweatshirt on, and said that I was "at school to learn, not to attract boys." Because, of course, I always get wet and muddy first thing in the morning so I can wear a shirt that I practically freeze in, in the hopes that some guy might look at me. When I tell her I wasn't wearing it to attract boys, she says I was giving her attitude, and says that I can't go trick of treating--OR camping with a friend. So, ten minutes before we were meeting, I have to cancel. And she won't talk to me about it.
So, basically, I hate today. I'm wet, muddy, and grounded. Someone please kill me.

I'm Really Bad at This Whole 'Being Mad' Thing...
I cracked. After school. He offered me a Red Vine. I was about to cry, and I REALLY didn't want to do that. I tried to ignore him, but it just didn't work!
Maybe I should back up.
I saw him today in the Computer Room, but we didn't say anything.
He made me join Garden Club earlier in the year. The meeting was today at lunch. I took Lisa's advice and sat with a big group of people. I managed to act like I was having a great time at first. But Toby was sitting alone. It was hard not to glance over there every once in a while. I was feeling sick still, so Katrina got my lunch. He was talking with people, about New Zealand, and him going back. It's easier to fight tears when your head is buried in a friend's shoulder. Not really. But yeah.
At one point, he walked off somewhere, and was looking at something. This girl (whose name I have forgotten) followed him. I tried to keep from watching him while he wasn't looking.
She came back, and said that she shunned me for being Toby's friend. I was about to say that I wasn't, but, for once, I kept my big gob shut. She told me he had found something interesting, and wouldn't tell her what it was. She said he was weird. "Yeah," I said, seeing him coming back. "He's an idiot. A big idiot." I felt bad instantly. This is why more people would like me if I was mute.
When the bell rang, I packed up slowly, telling my friends to go ahead. I wanted to give him the chance to say something, at least. But he didn't.
As I walked slowly off, I cast one last look behind me. Unfortunately, he saw it, it seemed. He took the opportunity to ask if anything was wrong. I just walked away. I'm an idiot. By the way.
All throughout the day, I was really confused. How could he still ask something like that after all I said to him? How could he still care when he said he didn't?
The only time my mind was really off of it was--and it's weird to say this--when I was with Eliot.
In PE, Daniel said that Eliot had a big bag of candy corn, and ate half of it before second period. o_o Daniel also said he didn't like candy corn. Eliot and I were in shock. xD Eliot had apparently had too much sugar, and was bouncing up and down.
"You have a whole bag of candy corn?" I asked.
"Yes!"
"Do you want to give me some?" I could feel an grin spreading across my face.
Again, "Yes!"
"Yay!" I said, and did the rare (for me) girly clap. xD
Then we went and ran two laps. Eeeeew. Eliot, Will, Jake, and some other people wanted to either run backwards, or run clockwise, unlike the rest of us. xD The teacher wouldn't let them, though, when they tried. How rude. Pfft.
In English, Eliot gave me a candy corn pumpkin. Yum. =3 It was the only small thing I can catch. xD Later, he took the bag out again, and I leaned over to look past Will to him. He mouthed, 'Afterwards.' I mouthed back, 'Thank you!'
Eliot, Cassie, Christine, and I formed a group for Oedipus Rex questions. We kept getting way off topic, and doing tricks with our eyes, etc. xD We had a handwriting contest at first, and Cassie won by a long shot. (We wrote "strawberries").
As it turned out, she was being kind of "OCD"-ish, in Christine's words. xD We had a lot of fun, even if we didn't finish. And Christine, Eliot, and I decided to form a bad handwriting club, in which we would sit around and eat candy corn in. xD
Eliot gave me a handful of candy corn after class, which made up for my 48 out of 60 on the essay part of the Beowulf quiz. Dx
After school, I was at my locker with Lisa. Toby came out (of a classroom, not my locker. I don't usually store boys in there, though Rebecca stuffed her baby in there. Don't ask. xD) with an almost-empty tub of Red Vines from the Spanish, and held it out. "Want one?" he asked. As I said, I nearly cried. Trying to buy myself some time to think and calm down, I said, "Okay," and took one. "Thank you," I whispered. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," he said. "You don't have to apologize any more."
I walked with him a few yards, and tried to explain that I really didn't mean any of it. I don't think I really succeeded much.
Later, Lisa's mom came to pick us up, bringing for Lisa her Bio homework, which she had stayed up until two to do, and forgotten at home. We ran around the school, trying to find our teacher, but with no luck. Finally, we went to ask our last-year's science teacher, who's room connects to an office, which connects to her room, if we could put it on her desk. He said yes, and she did so.
Then we took orders for Jamba Juice from Xiao and Yuriko, and collected money. We got Brittany's order as well.
Tomorrow, we get out early, and we have extra time between our first period (at a different school) and second period, so we're stopping by Jamba Juice. Lisa's mom is driving us and Sam.
Today, Lisa and I went to Jamba Juice, and I bought her and Christine a Jamba Juice. Christine was already in school. Haha. That was fun.
Lily and I are going out for lunch tomorrow. Yay! ^^ Since she had to quit band due to so much homework, I haven't gotten to see her much. =(
Right. So, I emailed Toby, and asked if he wanted a Jamba Juice--and apologized again.
Off to call Christine! ^^
By the way, have you seen this?

I'm REALLYREALLYREALLY Glad I'm Not a Striking Bag...
Eliot is scary when he's mad. Like yesterday. The striking bag--which our PE teacher nearly has to tackle to move at all--was sliding across the floor quickly under his blows.
"Eliot, that's scary. Are you okay?" I said nervously. He had been looking...not-happy all day. He told me he was mad. NO. WAY. xD
He was looking really sad all throughout English. I didn't say anything.
Do you ever see someone looking really sad, and wishing that you could substitute your sadness for theirs, just so they wouldn't look like that? Does someone else's sadness ever just make you sad, even when you don't know why they're sad? It like that for me. I think it always has been. I don't know why. When ever I see someone I know looking really sad, I get sad. It's sad.
I made cookies last night. And I succeeded! =D
Mostly because Alex totally saved my butt yesterday, when my lunch consisted of a horse cookie (Holly said they were good! The first bite was horrible, but after that, it tasted like hard tack and alfalfa. Pretty good when you're hungry. Cassie asked what I was eating, and I grumbled, "Technically, it's a horse cookie." Haha. But right now, it's a Faye-cookie! ;D). Alex gave me a bag of carrots, and another of Cheeze-Its, as well as a water bottle to wash it down. So nice!
I brought 14 of 22 Ginger Crinkles to school, and most of them are gone. People loved them! ^^ Especially Alex! Yay! I'm bringing her the recipe. ^^
I gave Eliot one, and he said it was good. The first bite was really hesitant. xP
He looked...more sad than mad today. I'm not bugging him about what's wrong. I doubt there's anything I could do. Hope everything's okay with him and Sophia!
Oh, on Sunday, Kate was being grumpy, as usual. I love her so much, though!
The girl riding Phantom was getting him to close to her, and she was putting her ears back and grinding her teeth at him. Shelley said that she was telling him to "drop dead." I was laughing so hard. I don't even know why. xDDD It was really funny at the time.
Let me describe Bella for you.
She's a rather tall bay, with no white markings on her. Her mane is cut pretty short, but not zebra-short, or anything. On the left side of her neck, she has this cool little swirl of hair. Some of her hair under where the girth goes is a bit roughed up. She has soft, trusting eyes, but definitely spirit.
She's amazing to ride, and, since she's still young, everything I do on her helps teach her. That means I have to be even more mindful to watch my manners, keep her walking briskly, not letting her break into a canter while we're trotting, stop when asked, etc. I love it. This means I'm learning as well.
Well, I'm really tired. Any help on the whole Toby thing would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Good night!
Love,
Faye
More Complaining (Not Necessary to Read)
I've been (mentally) hitting myself all day about Toby.
What do I do?
I was waiting for Katrina to get out of her class today before lunch, just sipping the coffee my (awesome) math teacher gave me, stirring it with the DumDum he gave me for that purpose. What did I do to deserve this, you ask? I raised my hand when he asked who wanted coffee. xDD Three people got some. Yummy. =3 I gots grape.
Steven and Stewart both got coffee as well. Both eighth graders. Steven spelled "triangle" wrong one time. xD He and the teacher have a deal that, if he doesn't talk in class (besides asking questions, of course) for a month, he'll get a pizza, all to himself. Not fair!
Our teacher is always cooking food in our class, which is right before lunch. It always smells so good! Ha, ha.
Oh. Right. Back to the point. xD
So, yesterday, I managed to avoid Toby by a) being late to second period (he has computers first period, so we usually see each other in between), b) having to take a group math test all throughout lunch (we got a freaking 84 out of 100!), c) getting to PE early, before he got out, and d) leaving QUICKLY after school.
Today, however, he asked for the book he had lent me back in computers. Proud to say I didn't a) hit him, or b) cry.
As I was waiting for Katrina, he comes out of the classroom, looks at me, and says, "I'm sorry." It was so casual that I asked, "For what?" in that dark way I have. Rofl. He replies, "For being an idiot, I guess." I look away, and he leaves.
What should I do? It wasn't exactly sincere, and I don't think he's even realized why I'm mad! Somehow. Guys are thick. REALLY thick, in Toby's case.
Should I accept his apology?
Ripley says to play hard to get. Pfft. Yeah, right. Haha.
Cassie and Lisa say that I shouldn't forgive him until he knows what he's done and apologizes better.
I'm leaning toward that, but I really miss him. Already.
It's really lonely to look at my email and see only our fight. And I know I owe him an apology, too.
I really wish I hadn't responded to the email by telling him I wish he would leave. That was awful of me. It's what he's always saying that people who hate him tell him; that he should just go back to New Zealand.
And, as much as I try to tell myself I hate him, something in my mind keeps coming back with three contradicting words that ring with the air of truth in my head.
I like him.
Help me?
